Advantages of an aql® IAX account

IAX is a single trunk between your Asterisk PBX(tm) box and the aql® telecoms platforms, meaning that there are no complicated NAT issues which could cause call dropping or loss of media (ie no sound!).

The advantages for resellers extend further - once you have an IAX connection for inbound/outbound with aql®, we simply route your calls but do not become part of the SIP path. i.e. you can sell your service to users via SIP and they will not be in direct contact with an aql® server - an ideal scenario for resellers.

Costs

aql® does not charge a monthly fee for IAX trunks, simply for the calls at our standard wholesale rates which are designed to allow significant reseller margin. (We do not publish our rates online, so that we do not undercut our resellers). For more information on rates, please contact us.

Number Rental - assign phone numbers via API
