Email to Speech

service icon

The email to speech service works in two ways, 'pre defined' and 'open sending'. Using the service in 'open sending' mode allows you to send emails from one or more specified email addresses and have them relayed as a synthesized speech message to any mobile or land line number.

How does it work?

From your aql® account you would setup one or more email addresses (ie the email address of the sender) for which our system will allow email to speech relaying through your account. Once an email address is setup you can then send emails to...

<mobile number>@openvoice.aql.com    (eg. 07740123456@openvoice.aql.com)

The 'from address' for the email would be matched to your account and the first 300 characters of the email would be relayed on as a synthesized speech message to the specified mobile or landline number. Your account will be charged 1 credit per text message sent for most locations. Note - this service cannot reach all destinations and delivery times may vary depending on message content due to the time taken to synthesize the speech. Please test the application to make sure it is suitable for your requirements.
